Hi @DanielLeens, I'd like to work on this. Plan:
1. In`connector-lance/pom.xml` , drop the module's own surefire`<argLine>`
configuration and the`java9+` profile that sets`--add-opens` (the
root`surefire.module.args` already provides it after #11545), keeping only
the`darwin-aarch64` profiles for the`os.arch` /`os.name` overrides.
2. Remove the repeated module flags from`SUREFIRE_JVM_ARGS`
in`.github/workflows/backend.yml` .
One question: since this depends on the root argLine change in #11545
(still open), should I base the PR on that branch, or wait until it's merged?
