The rebased change is ready locally (`6ef132fee`, parent current `dev` `83603e19`). `connector-lance/pom.xml` no longer has its own Surefire `<argLine>`, `java9+` profile, or `darwin-aarch64-java9+` profile. The remaining `darwin-aarch64` profile keeps only the `os.arch` / `os.name` overrides. 2. The diff is limited to that POM. The `backend.yml` cleanup and local-override scan stay in a later PR. 3. The JDK 17 verification command and `BUILD SUCCESS` result (28 tests, 0 failures) are posted on the PR. The fork workflow is not enabled yet; only @SwatiKumari250 can enable Actions in her fork. 4. I cannot push the rebased commit: the branch is in her fork and a permission check returns 403. I have not opened a second PR.
