A very long time ago, and in fact, just before Gamba "vanished" (?) from the
lists and email, I had corresponded with him about replacing the capacitors
on two of my SE/30s, which had no sound and occasional SimaSiMac video
symptoms... He sent back a very detailed Email about the process and all
of the parts required, with complete specs. Due to time constraints, I
never tried his suggestions, nor did I order the parts from him (I believe
he ordered them in bulk, and re-sold them - at about his cost - to
list-members back then)
If everyone would like to know more, and no one else supplies the
information, I'll see if I can dig out the email and re-post it here for
everyone's edification and enjoyment. :-)
