No, I'm being picky about how you are describing things.
"working with the community" is recognizing that there are two separate
entities: "Sun", and "The community of users outside Sun".

"working with the community" does not require relabeling the definition of
"the community" as also including sun employees.

Sun by definition (hopefully!) already works with its own employees.
The priority problems here, are figuring out how sun needs to meet the needs
of people OUTSIDE sun.
Redefining "the community" as including people inside sun, and then having
people inside sun hijack the process of finding out what people OUTSIDE SUN
want, is counterproductive

Let's keep our "communities" clear here.
