I will try other kernels (Danny's, Thomas'), and try building from source, but this has to be fixed ASAP! (unless it's just my system)
With Danny's mm kernel (alsa 0.9.2) MIDI works fine, but mixer setting still go to 0/mute on each alsa restart.
