I once had a Garmin model 45.  It would read "no satellites" if you got it
up over 99 kts.  It was programmed to do so.  I guess they wanted one to
buy
the avaition model.  I did.  Would highly recommend the model 92.

don't go that fast <G>)  When it wakes up again, it indicates some speed

25 and shows me being 15 or 20 miles from where I was.  It takes it
