land it without excessive problems when improperly rigged. Try that with most any other aircraft and they would be draining your remains out of a ball of aluminum.
Having the rudder rigged backwards isn't that big a deal
in any airplane (except a taildragger). It's when the
ailerons or elevator are rigged backward that the really
bad crashes happen. The Ercoupe would be no exeption.
