Dale, thanks. The game I'm trying to get going is Twilight Struggle.
I tried to load the gamebox file in CBDesign, but I got the same
error message ("The parameter is incorrect"). I downloaded the
gamebox from the Twilight Struggle Consimworld Forum.

Lee, I've changed the folder name to myLastName-opponentLastName, to
no effect. Thanks for the pointer on saving. I'm not able to open a
file in CBPlay to make any moves in yet.

I'm able to get open this Twilight Struggle gamefile on my wife's
PC, so that suggests the problem is with my PC somehow and not in
the gamefile...

I just reinstalled WinXP and SP2, re-writing the partition in the
process. Still get the error.

gets your move, then he can save it after he checks it for errors.
Does that make sense?
