Jay, I think you should change your new folder's name to your last name and the
last name of your opponent. Example: massey-cope.
Also when you quit CB Play after finishing, you don't need to save anything
if you've sent the move to file. When your opponent gets your move, then he can
save it after he checks it for errors. Does that make sense?

problem description (I'm running WinXP):
I created a new folder at the C:\ level called "Cyberboard"
I downloaded Cyberboard 3.02 from the website and unzipped the
contents (8 files) into the "Cyberboard" folder I created.
Opened CBPlay.
Selected File...Open and then selected the game I want to open (sent
from friend who created it).
I get an error message that says "The parameter is incorrect"
When I quit CBPlay, it asks me "Save changes to Untitled?" with
Yes/No/Cancel.
If I choose No, CBPlay quits.
If I choose Yes, I get a Save As dialogue box. When I provide a
filename and attempt to save, I again get "The parameter is
incorrect" error message. After quitting CBPlay, I notice that there
is a file of size 0K with the filename I provided. It is also
unopenable in the same way.
