Uh-oh - still no joy! I installed my new RAM and I'm still getting 
the same error ("The parameter is incorrect"). I'm now at 1.12 GB 
RAM with a 1.5Ghz Pentium 4, running WinXP SP2.

I also downloaded a different CB gamebox (Here I Stand) and tried to 
start a new game, but got the same error.

Again, I don't believe the gamefile is corrupted since I can open it 
OK on another PC.

Dale, in addition to the low memory, you mentioned something about 
a "small paging file"... I don't know what that is. You also 
suggested posting the Task Manager's Performance tab specs. There's 
several groups of #'s there - which ones are of interest.
