The guide has online use in mind and does not specifically treat other media types. But even having the differences of printing and RGB display in mind some things should remain as similar as possible. Namely the colors. Introducing gray is not preferable if there is an option to use our blue, but ultimately nothing is thought to be a law that cannot be broken. it is just an order of preferences.
