Hmm. I know we have not voted - (and yeah we are all busy)—but should we
settle with the Logo /Website that André proposed?

We are just about to make the announcement, so it would be nice to point
people to github-repo but to the site, and I think even with that "simple"
and not yet fully reviewed content, we can get started and point people to "
magpie.apache.org" and update modify the docs as we go along. We can always
change those later—but it seems that the Logo and schema André proposed are
liked by many :D and we can get it going now to have it ready for the
announcement. I think it also plays nicely with the "agnostic" approach.

WDYT? Does anyone dislike it as a starting point?

André - maybe you can wire it up in the build process?

1) Create a "publish" orphaned branch where we publish generated files in
the main repo
2) Have a separate repo (magpie-site)

The drawback of such a branch is that the repository containing generated
files in the orphaned branch could become large. Depending on the size of
these files, a separate repo might be a better solution. We can ask infra
for a narrowly-scoped token to push only to the site repository (we need a
separate token for that). So I think that is a better solution

André, would it be possible for you to create a PR for it?

Once we have a "publish" orphaned branch pushed as a result of the build
(in ether repo), we can wire-it-up to Apache hosting via .asf.yaml -
https://infra.apache.org/project-site.html
