You have said this before but I cannot find the issues. Help me out here with numbers. There should be no reason that good stuff was not published. Just one would help. I would like to see exactly what the problem was. > > I certainly would say that *I* "did not like working within the > existing system", but only because the existing system did not > work... it was like a black hole into which stuff went and never > emerged. Yes. I can understand that. I remember offering to talk you through getting an ssh tunnel working. So I do see what barriers there might be. I do not know how to make the process easier as I have no control over Sourcecast and can only submit issues when I find something that needs fixing. I have tried to do that. > > From what I've read, Daniel and many other people have had > exactly the same experience I did. > I am sure this is true. > My response was to go off and write a book of my own which I > self-published outside of OOo and later sold to O'Reilly. > I know I bought one. > Daniel's response was to start another project and get people > involved in it. I supported his initial efforts. As dividing the community, I am not the one recruiting actively in NLC or anywhere else for that matter. So your point is I disagree with OOoAuthors policies, then yes I do. I have also stated my issues with the current state of affairs. -- PLEASE KEEP MESSAGES ON THE LIST.
