If some few nevertheless wish not to use those licenses for editable work they wish to donate to OOo, then I regret to say that would be their not our problem.
Actually it *is* OOo's problem if those people choose not to contribute to the documentation being produced by the Docs Project, because of the licensing issues.
For example, more people are needed to assist with writing, editing, indexing, and generally keeping up to date the User Guide being produced by Docs. If people decline to work on that document because of licensing issues, it seems to me that *is* a problem for OOo.
It is *not* a problem for potential contributors, because they can join OOoAuthors and produce their work under a CC license on our site, with only the non-editable (PDF) results of that work going to the OOo website. Or (as you noted) they can provide their work to one of the other documentation sites. But neither of those scenarios helps GRS get the User Guide done.
