What is the resistance to bumping? It seems to me that we're back to that -- a meaningless effort to keep the numbers from incrementing. The conclusion drawn a while ago (thanks to Roy's clewbat) was that the numbers are MEANINGLESS. So why are we trying to overload them? If we roll, and something's wrong with the tarball, we bump before rolling again.
