        Strange, my concern was based on the description from Ienup of the
liason role (which seems to differ from your analysis):

        Which sounds like a fairly technical role to me, rather than one
involving policy. But agreed - if it is a pure political talking-shop it
sounds like madness to waste scarce engineering time on it :-)

        In which field Eike is an expert :-)

        In which field Eike has good form - his great work on the OpenDocument
TC comes to mind eg.

        And Eike is IMHO one of the most friendly, outgoing & community engaged
engineers Sun have, so personally I don't see that being a problem
either :-)
