[~dsmiley] I'm fine if you want to cut down on code duplication by putting
random shape generation in spatial-3d.
I agree that Geo->Geo3d.
The distinction between an "area shape" and a "shape" is that one implements
GeoArea and the other does not. Some shapes are not amenable to implementing
this geo3d interface.
