aoo-closer.cgi was an idea before SourceForge. It doesn’t work for the reason 
you mention.

A download site that works without JavaScript is not a wizard it would be a 
form perhaps many on separate pages. I have an idea, but don’t wait for me 
because I won’t have time for a few months.
