For me it just > plugs possible > security holes (and I don't need to worry about possible future exploits) Assuming you run E-smith 4.1, for atalk for example you do: /sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop atalk status disabled (or ....... smb status disabled, don't know lptr) /sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save /etc/rc.d/init.d/atalk stop Look into the /home/e-smith/configuration file and you will see how easy it is to see the definition status of all services.
