Charlie,

I want to host my own newsgroups so that our software users can support each
other.

As far as I can see, neither leafnode or nntpcache allow for the serving of
local newsgroups.

I'm hoping to configure my news server specifically _not_ to get / take /
support newsfeeds except for the local groups.

I've found what looks like a nice web <-> nntp interface based on php
(enabled in e-smith <g>)

Looks like lots more reading of inn documentation unless anyone else has a
suggestion.

By the way, I _want_ the dual nntp / web access to this support option, as
our customer base (AutoCAD users) is used to this service from Autodesk's
(quite troublesome) server.
