I agree with Darrell, let Mitel participate if they want but this should be a community project.
I must be honest, this type of step leads to a possible "fork" project of SME server. It is very similar to what happended with Smoothwall and IPCop. First we want to create our own community contrib site, next we want our own community blade add-on,next..... I have a few howtos around that I haven't posted yet! What is going to be the format, templates like Darrells? What sort of quality control are we going to have? Remember anybody can post howtos but we must a means rating them and approving? As far as commercialising, well I wouldn't count my chickens just yet! But I don't see any harm in a few banner-ads?
