Yes, I agree. I too, have recommended Squeezeboxes to many of my friends and family. They are truly fantastic products! HOWEVER, if they didn't have me set it up for them (and provide a fix here and there) they would have no chance! That is, absolutely no chance. They don't want to know about (and nor should they have to know about) downloading SlimServer, what version of Windows they run, what patches are required, etc. I am a degree-qualified IT professional. You should not have to be a degree-qualified IT professional to use Slim Devices products. Even some things are beyond me - such as trying my hardest to get SS working on Solaris. At the end of the day, we buy Squeezeboxes/Transporters so that we can listen to music - not so that we can sit in front of a computer coding/mainipulating software!
