We agree fully.  Sorry if I left you with a different impression in my  
haste to jest.

Understood and agreed.  This in fact is a very big part of our ethos -  
be reseller friendly and don't go near their customers.

This is very interesting.  I see what you mean but it flies in the  
face of what I always thought was the right approach to this.

For example, we have been quietly building a really solid User  
Experience and Design group here at Tucows and much of our work these  
days is on radical improvement to interfaces - both Reseller-facing  
and End-user-facing.  That feels right to me.  Of course we'll get  
feedback from Resellers on the end-user interfaces but what really  
matters to me in that case is that we build something BETTER than most  
of our resellers have the resources to build (or conceive) themselves.

I guess I'm saying "I hear you, but still feel we should look for  
inspiration wherever we can with that caveat that we temper it with  
input from Resellers".

I don't actually think we're disagreeing other than in the details.
