Bad news, but just as many of us here, unfortunately… > I agree with Jean-Michel on the steps that should be done - in > particular, it would be *very* useful to have a shared pool of > translations, for use by upstream projects, distros, individual > developers and end users. Probably, a missing feature in Transifex to reach this goal is the ability to aggregate projects into a bigger one. I've already seen several of our applications being hosted on Transifex too, as "single" projects. That said, an important question remains: what confidence should we put into Transifex if one day the missing feature would appear? For this reason, upstream project may prefer not move to Transifex anyway. > I'm willing to assist in work that helps in this area, but I'm unsure > how much I can actually contribute. NB: There was an idea flowing about making a DDL variant for teenagers, with a similar interface but, of course, different artwork, and obviously a different set of applications. I fear it's too much work to do and will never start. I'm also unsure about the real needs since teens usually like to do like adults. I've ever heard people suggesting a variant for grandmas but never for teenagers! Cheers, JM. _______________________________________________ Doudoulinux-lang mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/doudoulinux-lang
