I'm sorry, I just have to say a big -1 to this one. I've never had a 
problem with IDEA's GUI on any modern machine, and many problems with 
swt. Why have IDEA be beholden to IBM? I think they're doing just fine 
by themselves, and if the increased traffic on the newsgroups is any 
indication, so do many other developers.

It's surprising how receptive manager-type guys are to increased 
productivity. And to released products that WORK.
