Good Evening,

It has been a wet week.  The sun did come out for a few seconds but the rest of the time it has been foggy, rainy, and gloomy.  Almost all of the bracken ferns are yellow, gold, or bronze.  Leaves have mostly changed to some shade of yellow with a slight tinge of orange.  Birds are scarce.

The sun is fairly blank but still active.  Last Sunday there was a large CME which disrupted Sweepstakes.  Another CME is due today though it is not as strong.  There are aurora but with constant cloud cover it is hard to see them.  I am also too far away from the magnetic North pole to see them on a regular basis. I grew up in Wisconsin where the light show was common and often intense.  Viewing them over time gives you a good look at how the magnetic field is structured.

So even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream.
It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.
