I don't know if this bug has been fixed, but on the versions I 
have, the spindle will not atart if you do this!

Anyway, you use the slider bar on the preview window to move to 
the block you want to start at, and then there is a "start from 
line" option, I think it is in the File menu.  Other than 
starting the spindle, it works as expected, running through the 
code to make sure all modal settings are in place and the 
machine is at the last position the G-code would have had it at 
before it gets to the selected block to actually start cutting from.
