starting from a stepconf file, you need to at least * delete all the parport.0.pin-##-out-reset lines in your hal file * delete the 'addf parport.0.reset' line in your hal file * delete the 'setp parport.0.reset-time' line in your hal file * set the steplen and stepspace parameters to datasheet numbers in ns to disable the "doublestep" mode and get the long step pulse lengths that are required for your driver board.
