I use the three phase VFD with single phase 240VAC input. The filter is
on the input. I put a ferrite bead over the three motor output leads.
The bead didn't seem to help at all. Originally, without the VFD, the
spindle motor leads had a separate filter on each lead. The high
frequency output from the VFD burned these up, so beware of what is on
your motor leads when you use a VFD.
