Does anyone have any experience hooking a Linux box equipped with EMC2 up to a cell phone network for remote access/maintenance via the internet?
I have no idea where to start regarding the required cell phone hardware or what cell phone service would be best. I'm assuming I would have to use some type of dynamic DNS service. Is it possible to do this with any of the off the shelf cell phone <-> comptuer equipment available from the cell phone companies, like the plug in USB devices? This would not need to be a permanent installation on the remote PC end.
