I think, when I get the mount made & working, and a calibration proceedure written up, that LCNC will again have a camview-like machine vision system.
Went back to my blanket chest and cut a 1/4" wide groove in the bottom panel to lock the ends of the cedar boards into, and located so that when I set the main box on, the ends of the cedar panels were supposed to be what held the box square. Wasn't vey far out of square, but the visible width of the groove was fine on one end, and buried under the edge of the box on the other. It appears that when I made the 6 end boards for this kit of 3 chests, somehow one of them got sawed for length at 19.5" while the other 5 were 19" long, even. I'll have to check the prints again & see which is correct. Dangerous Dumb-Ass at work... :( I could make another, but setting the mill and its jig up to mill those joints is rather time consuming. That jig has been pulled off and stored up in the other, not well heated shop building. > Cheers, Gene Heskett Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
