Good try, but I'm sorry, but streaming video sucks. It's either compressed to postage stamp size with just a few frames per second, or it won't play reliably even with a decent connection. It's much better to bite the bullet and let a good video file download for however long it takes, and then you've got it locally and can watch it with decent size, quality and frame rate.
