Interesting.  You'd think the bureaucrats would be more receptive to 
charging installers' concerns.  

They've certainly listened attentively, yea verily reverently, as the 
mainstream automakers have whined and wailed about how they couldn't 
possibly make cars safer, or reduce their emissions, or make them run on 
electricity, because it's just too darn hard and expensive.  Oh, and it'll 
cost jobs, too.

I wonder why this is different.  It's a mystery.  I guess we'll never know.
