You don't need to alter your politics, simply be aware, that there appear to be rich people who seek a die-off. The Bubonic Plague of the 6th century, which spread from India to Ireland (kicking the crap out of the Byzantine empire) is heralded by the Irish tale of the kings of Ireland (kinglets) praying to Jesus to strike down the sinful poor. However, the Irish were hit by the black plague entirely, and carried off rich and poor, reducing one third of the population. The plague hit all over 1500 years ago, not just the serfs. So be careful what we pray for, eh?
Yes, of course the planet and us. But we can't live on dreams alone! We need solar and wind and (?), to touch, roll our tongues over, and more properly, light the world. It has to work, something material. To the greens I slam, and demand, "Don't just tell how nice solar is doing in Germany, light up f****** Berlin, already!"
