Yes they are indistinguishable , or at least I don't know how to distinguish between the two. In other words i f you assume that things are fundamentally random then that assumption will never lead to a physical contradiction even if it's not true. And if Many Worlds is right and everything that can happen does happen then I'm not at all sure it would be not true to say that things are fundamentally random.
