I don't know what you mean by "Outlook was empty". Which folders were
empty? All of them? What about access to Public Folders? Were her message
stores on the server and in OST empty, or was Outlook not picking them up?

Subject: Mystery- Profile magically deleted
Hi all,
I have a user that is driving me insane, the latest in her saga was that
she came in on Saturday and her "outlook was empty" she has two profiles ,
The second profile was / is there -
I have to tread lightly as the user is HR manager, I looked in her pc and
saw
that on Saturday her OST and OAB files were all modified at 12:19 pm- her
claim was she came in turned on her PC and was not prompted for a password (
very odd since you cant logon without one) then upon launching her outlook
it was empty-
I can confirm she came in and turned on her pc by looking at the event log
she turned it on at 11:52 am-
We are on exchange 2003 - outlook 2003 xpsp2
I have had many issues in the past , all of which I was able to demonstrate
were done by the user- missing messages ( which wound up in one of the 20
subfolders) etc...
Has anyone heard of something like this before?
I'm at a loss here
TIA
