In any case, don't uninstall the whole shebang if you run into a similar glitch in the future. As long as you can get to a CLI interface then you can at least try to fix things from there. I HIGHLY recommend that you install pine under the email clients next time around too. It installs pico as its default editor which is a MUCH friendlier editor than vi or emacs (text-based). If you have to fiddle with configs it is much easier to do it in pico than trying to work out the cryptic commands for vi or emacs. I always install pine specifically for the sake of pico because it is so easy to use that I can concentrate on fixing things I might screw up rather than trying to figure out/learn oddball key combinations for an editor. praedor -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9vqRf1i/6R1B/Yh0RAqSHAJ0Uf4OuS73HGsu9xDOyBFnJqDCDOgCdHJtE VW3K5nOrE16uN/RVitgwC0k= =7wNL -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
