I find that the VESA driver usually works on XFree4.x
on the unsupported cards. No acceleration though and
not sure if you can go bigger than 1024x768. You can
change your default boot OS by editing the
/etc/lilo.conf file. Change the line with
default=linux to default=windows or whatever the label
is for that partition. See the man page for lilo.conf.
Also, make sure you run lilo from the command prompt
after you edit the file to update the boot sector.
