All of which are a great excuse to for wasting time instead of 
actually working with the program. God forbid Coda should throw away 
another upgrade cycle emphasizing style over substance.

If they are not made as compact as the original icons, that would be 
a significant detriment to the program, since screen real-estate is, 
IMO at least, always at a premium. Much better (and I think 
eventually inevitable) would be a tool-less Finale in which anything 
you click on automatically brings up the relevant menus, handles, etc.
