I just tried it, and yes, it's the same. For some reason, I'm in the habit of using the arrow keys rather than page-up and page-down, so I had never noticed this before. >It's a damned unfriendly text editing window, I must say. I agree with that 100%. It's a horrible window, and there are numerous things that ought to be done to improve it. For starters I'd like to be able to resize the window, and I'd like a function that changes the % view of the text in it. Fortunately, I'm not affected by it too often, since I usually just type text into it all at once and never need to change anything later. When I do make edits there, it's pretty clumsy. If I have a lot of typing or editing to do, I'll sometimes use cut and paste to copy the text to a real text editor for editing, then cut and paste again to move it back. This is actually not such a big deal to do, but even so it's utterly ridiculous that anyone would ever want to. mdl _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
