Finale knows perfectly well what to do with a space; it jumps to the next syllable. Two spaces, two syllables. Some people add the extra spaces in to account for melismas, so that they can opt-click (or alt-click) assign and not have to shift afterwards, but I think this is dangerous. Fortunately, the kerning in the Edit Lyrics window is like a typewriter (what is the word for that, monospaced?) so extra spaces are easier to see than in Microsoft Word. _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
