As far as I know it's not possible to enter notes "as grace notes" in Speedy Entry (i.e., specifying "the next note I enter will be a grace note"). You yourself said your method involves converting to grace notes after entry.

Above is my suggestion, it puts in two sixteenths, converting them as you go. The / beams them. Five keystrokes (not including the MIDI notes held down).

3 3 ; leftarrow leftarrow ; rightarrow rightarrow

is what I think you are suggesting, put in two sixteenths, then convert them in reverse order, then get back to where you were to keep on going. Eight keystrokes (abeit two of them are doubles, which may count as one, or one and a half in terms of speed).

I dunno, I think mine is faster, though not enough to make a big point out of it.
