The example I gave: may have been slightly extreme - Bb minor (concert pitch). Both horn players had 12 bars rest, first entrance was a fortissimo written C, Db, both missed the Db.
All the other times I've used horn key signatures I had no problems. I suppose I overreacted when I swore off of them for good.
