I’m running Finale 2010 on Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitan). I had to do a fresh
install on a new computer earlier this year, so I didn’t keep any of my old
settings or preferences.

For playback, I have no external device nor Garritan sounds nor human playback;
I just do the plain MIDI that comes with the Mac and that’s good enough for my
needs.

Today I tried exporting an audio file. The playback sounds fine when I play
back from Finale, but on the exported audio file it plays at an absurdly slow
tempo. Everything else seems fine (including a swing setting), it’s just
really really slow. I tried exporting in various ways and I doinked with some
settings in the MIDI menu, but nothing seemed to make any difference.

Any ideas?

When I was debating whether to upgrade or install, I was warned that v2010
might be buggy in El Capitan. I did notice a few minor weirdnesses in the
screen display but until now nothing I couldn’t work around. Is this one of
those bugs I was warned about, or is it just an audio-related preference that I
had set before and need to set again?
