Yes, Beatrix that must be the answer because I ran the same solution on
my PC and it works fine. So the Send Mail doesn't auto default and work
on a mac, unusual that windows does something better/easier.

Hi,
I've just tried to use the Send Mail option (FM 8.5) and while the
appropriate info is entered the command goes nowhere.
Do you have to link FM to your email first ?
Mac mini duo, OSX 10.4.5 , Thunderbird is my default email
I think I've tried most options including scripting with correct linking
to the required fields following the 'Help' list of actions.
