Send Mail works fine for me on both a PPC Mac and Intel Mac with no
apple scripting. My email client is Eudora. Perhaps Thunderbird
cannot be triggered? I think I remember that only some email clients
worked with FileMaker.

Mac mini duo, OSX 10.4.5 , Thunderbird is my default email
I think I've tried most options including scripting with correct
linking to the required fields following the 'Help' list of actions.
