hi all,
No luck yet, but things look promising.

>>Shishir Jha
>>replace your current /etc/wvdial.conf with this content....

>>[Dialer Defaults]
>>Init1 = ATZ
>>Init2 = AT&FH0M0
>>New PPPD = yes
>>Phone = #777
>>Modem = /dev/ttyUSB0
>>Username = <username>
>>Password = <password>
>>Baud = 115200

I did Replace the content, put my own usrname and psswd and then tried
the command-wvdial, it returned the following message:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# sudo wvdial
WvDial<*1>: WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.56
WvModem<*1>: Cannot get information for serial port.
WvDial<*1>: Initializing modem.
WvDial<*1>: Sending: ATZ
WvDial<*1>: Sending: ATQ0
WvDial<*1>: Re-Sending: ATZ
WvDial<Err>: Modem not responding.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~#

and also, couldnt figureout why permission is denied in the following
command !!

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# /etc/wvdial.conf -bash: /etc/wvdial.conf:
Permission denied

hoping for your kind help,
bishworaj
