I'm not sure what it could be though the motherboard is an nforce
board too, which might increase the consumption requirements.

How would I be able to tell? Most of the info. I've found about
problems suggest that it's the PSU; the problem is intermittent,
affecting different things, and I see crashes on high CPU or RAM
usage.
