If you have some time, feel free to send patched :) Or at least do some googling to find out some python modules that do these effects or at least some lib that can be used to make them... maybe PIL does.
OK i will look at that. I will search for existing Python modules and then try to implement it.
There are some nice pythonmagik modules (be carefull there are two with the same name, I forget which is the good one) that look to have lots of great image processing features. I was thinking about using this for the gphoto or camera plugins to preprocess images before saving them to the machine.
