At $previous_job the Comptroller used Acronis with success on a Dell
running XP Pro SP2, I don't recall any complaints. The integrated
Veritas backup software in XP works reasonably well for data backups but
maybe not so much for a full disk image. Norton Ghost works pretty well
for making images in Windows to a backup drive.
